Open Postdoctoral Researcher Position!

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join the DFG funded Emmy Noether project QuakeID at the Bavarian Research Institute of Experimental Geochemistry and Geophysics (BGI) at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. The position is initially funded for 2.5 years, with the option of extension for an additional 2.5 years. The successful applicant will investigate deep earthquake rupture processes using numerical models und will become part of a team consisting of a post-doctoral researcher, two PhD students and the project leader (Dr. Marcel Thielmann). Candidates should hold a PhD in Geophysics, Computational Physics, Geodynamics or a related field.
